Executive Summary

  • Standard Solution Enhancements in last 6 months – Flex Designer Studio with PDF Library, Spot Color Support, Corporate & Vendor Module, Product Set up module and lot more.
  • New Solutions – Trade Printer & Print Broker Solutions, CorelDraw Template Engine.
  • New Development in Progress – Online PhotoBook/Album solution, Variable Data Printing using PDF/VT.
  • Enhanced Solution Support and Training: We provide special store set up services to subscription clients and interactive training to all our clients.
  • First Hand feedback from existing clients to define next solution enhancements.
  • To further speed up feature enhancement and stabilize the solution we are on aggressive recruitment drive and have got on board 4 Senior Technical Members, 4 Quality Check team members, 19 Software Development members and 2 Support members.
  • New Partnerships: We have partnered with Ricoh Canada and Xerox Russia to offer print shop solutions to their clients.

At OnPrintShop we are committed to improving our online print store product, delivery, and customer service standards. We are constantly evolving our solution by taking feedback from our existing clients and partners. We have adopted the below given approach to improve our solution and our service.

New Feature Enhancements

Over the past 6 months we have upgraded our standard print store solution with new modules like B2B store, PDF template engine, vendor module, etc. We have also enhanced some existing features of our solution.

First Hand Feedback from Our Existing Clients

Our objective is to identify needs from wish list to define our development cycle and provide clarity on next enhancements.

We are aggressively working to get first hand inputs from existing clients on their current challenges and needs for enhancement of front store, designer studio, and admin panel features.

Our team of senior product development and management has started making personal visits and interactions with existing clients. They are interacting with print domain experts and our partners who have extensive print industry experience and are in touch with print service providers.

Recruited New Team Members

Objective: To get the best team to provide quality solution, fast turnaround, and lower cost.

Approach: With respect to same from November we have been on recruitment drive to identify skills and attitude as required on various levels – Senior Project Managers, Developers, Quality Analysis Team, Support and Domain experts.

Senior Tech Team: We are very happy to have on board four senior members to achieve our objectives:

  • Technical Head with 22 years’ of experience
  • Technical Lead with 11 years’ experience
  • Technical Product Manager with years of experience in Print Production
  • Senior Operations Manager for timely delivery.

QC Team Expansion: We have expanded our QC team with 3 juniors and 1 senior member with 6+ years’ experience as QC lead. They are rigorously testing the solution for bugs and UI improvements. They are analyzing the flow of the solution and suggesting changes that will further simplify our solution for printers. They are testing the solution code under various conditions and identifying loopholes for correction. They are also studying security aspects of the solution to further enhance it.

Programmers: We have also increased the strength of our core development team. We have added 19 programmers to the team with different experience levels. They are dedicatedly working on developing new features and enhancing existing ones.

Support Team: We have added 2 new members in our night team to provide round the clock support and training.

Internal Trainings

Our team is our key asset and for assuring consistent growth, at OnPrintShop we have implemented several innovative ideas to enhance different skills of our team.

Technical Trainings: We are conducting internal trainings and knowledge sharing sessions every weekend to improve technical skills of our people. We have mentorship sessions for personal and professional growth of our team.

Team Building Activities: We arranged two day camping trip for our people to interact with each other freely and bond together. They learned various useful aspects like compassion for team members, discipline, synchronizing their efforts with the team, working to achieve common goal, etc.

We also conducted a sports tournament which brought out leadership ideas and management abilities of some team members. They learnt how to cope with stressful situations and perform to the best of their abilities. They learnt how to lead a team, decision making, adjusting to changing circumstances, sharing success with team members, appreciating good performance, etc.

Movie Club: We have started a movie club that uses cinema as a medium to improve communication and soft skills of the team. We are using movies to develop listening abilities and positive mindset of our team. It is also helping us bridge the cultural gap with our global clients and connect better with them.

New Partnerships

We have partnered with Ricoh Canada and Xerox Russia to offer web to print solution to their clients. Ricoh Canada and Xerox Russia have evaluated us with other web2print solution providers. What they have liked about OnPrintShop is that it is:
