What’s New:
1. Admin Search Functionality
In version 9.1, we are introducing the Search Functionality in the admin panel. For this, a search bar, search icon, bookmark icon, and menu are added in the Top Header of the admin panel.
The admin can now search for any specific section by selecting the menu from the drop-down, entering the keywords in the search bar, and clicking on the Search icon.
With the help of the Bookmark icon, the admin can search the pinned pages from the system.
2. Template Creation for Package Product
In the v9.1 release, you can now create a template for the fixed-size package products as well. You can create templates for package products with pre-defined sizes.
In the front store, your customers can now select the templates for package products based on the selected pre-defined size using the Browse Design button.
3. New Product Page Layout Blocks
The below three new blocks are added to the product page layout:
- Full-Width Content – Through this block, the specified content can be seen in full-width at the front store, irrespective of the website theme.
- **Full-Width Background –**Through this block, we can set the full-width background for the specified content. The color of the background can be managed from the custom CSS.
- Full-Width Image Background – Through this block, we can set the product’s large image as the full-width background for the specified content. Also, you can manage the display of the specified content.
4. Associated Products
In v9.1, Now, the admin can associate (map) a predefined product with the product options (master options).
At the Front Store, based on the selection of product options, its associated product will be displayed on the Product details page and will be automatically added to the shopping cart.
Example: A banner stand is automatically added to the cart whenever a customer purchases a Banner product with some product option selections.
5. Franchisee-wise workflow Admin
In this release, we introduce you to the “Workflow Admin” feature for the Franchisee business model. Now, the Franchisee admins can manage their individual workflow by creating workflow admins with defined access roles.
For this, the “Workflow Admin” menu has been added under the admin menu in the Franchisee model. Using the workflow roles created by the Super admin, the Franchisee admins can create the workflow admins as per the workflow cycle, they follow.
This facility is very useful for Franchisee business models or multi-geographic location stores where each franchisee/store has its own order workflow cycle, different from the HO workflow cycle.
6. Product-specific Sales Agent Commission
In the version 9.1 release, you can offer product-specific commissions to sales agents for businesses running on a commission-based revenue model.
Along with order-wise commission, now you can give order-product-wise commission. You will also have the flexibility to configure the master commission and map it with multiple sales agents.
Enhancements for an edge:
1. Separate Availability of Payment/Shipping Method for Private/Public Store
The admin can now assign the Payment or Shipping methods separately to All Private Stores and All Public Stores.
2. Manage Product Specific and Category Specific FAQs
To allow the admin to manage the FAQs for multiple products or product categories, we have added the FAQ Type option on the Add FAQ page. Using this option, the admin can create a FAQ under the “Product Specific FAQ”, “Category Specific FAQ” and “General FAQs” types.
After creating the FAQs, a FAQ block can be added to the product page layout allowing you to personalize the FAQ block for your product info page.
3. Block IP Address Enhancement
In the v9.1 release, the Block IP Address section has been renamed to “Manage IP Address”. Now as an admin, you can even allow the IP address of your specific clients using the “Allow IP Address”. This will be useful when your store is under maintenance and you need feedback and suggestions from those specified clients/customers.
4. Web Optimization Enhancements
In the Web Optimization section, you can now individually optimize the Banner, Products and Product categories, Product Gallery Images, Size/Additional Option Attribute, Content Images, and Website Logos using appropriate settings.
Additionally, you can optimize all the images and logos at once by using the optimize button from the top right corner. It will optimize all the product images, product gallery images, website logos, and banners.
5. Minor Enhancements
Admin
- You can now add HTML tags like
<i>
, <b>
etc. in the ‘additional options’ and ‘attribute’ titles and its effect will be seen in the ‘Shopping Cart details’ and ‘Order Details’ at the storefront in addition to the Order Details in the admin panel. - Admin can change the languages and currency for their customers from the customer setting in the customer section. It will automatically change if your customer has changed from the front store. If you are moving your customer from the default store to a private store or any other store, then it will display the custom language and currency in the drop-down of the customer details.
- The sub-admins will also get the bell notifications for those modules for which they have access rights.
- The payment failure error/reason beside the respective payment request will be displayed in the Standalone tab.
- You can filter the workflow dashboard by Store and check store-wise workflows.
- Now, we will save your Google and Facebook shopping feeds on the server. You can configure its link in your respective platform. Additionally, we have added a sync button through which you can sync feeds in the respective platform. You can use this facility to avoid manual import/export.
- The admin can specify ‘CC’ for the default reminder emails provided in the system.
- In v9.1, your customers will receive an email for account review if you have enabled the “authorized from admin” option in the “Enable Authorization while registering Customers” setting from the Site Settings. You can also configure the email template to send the account review mail to your customer.
- In Sales – ‘Order Details’ & ‘Order Product Detail’ and in Customers – ‘Customer Details Report’, a new filter – ‘User-Group’ is added for you to filter report results via User-Group.
- New filters – ‘Store’, in the ‘Template Sales’ and ‘Designer Commission Report’ have been added for you to filter store-wise report results.
- You can now view the brief order details in a popup by clicking on Order ID at the Recent Orders from the Dashboard, Reorder from the list of orders, in Order Detail Report, Order Product Detail, and in Order Delivery Report.
- For the dynamic pages, you can now create custom language URLs.
- For a multi-language business model, we now support language-wise date format settings at the front store as well as in the Admin Panel.
- The store selection in the header will be displayed in alphabetical order.
- Only the super admin can export the data to Excel in Order, Quote, and Customer modules.
- In the CkEditor, the admin can now import images with .webp and .webm formats along with other formats.
- Now, on the Access Roles Page, we will give the option to select all accesses at once in every access role column under the customer tab in the customer section.
Store Management
- For Product, Template, Contents, and FAQs modules, a store-specific preview URL will be generated i.e., if the header filter is of Franchise, then in the preview link specific store’s front-store preview URL will be displayed.
- The parent-child hierarchy will now be maintained in the following modules – Contents, Product Page Layout, FAQs, Testimonials, Banners, Website themes, language text references, Form Fields, Image Gallery, etc.
- For creating the Dynamic Master Markup, the admin can configure the look-up range and apply markup based on the quantity as well in addition to the Price.
Partnership Management
- In version 9.1, the franchisee will now be able to create and manage their own coupon for their customers.
- In the Franchise and Reseller Store admin account, they will have the facility to import SEO content.
- On the order listing and the order details page, the name of the customer’s immediate parent store name will be displayed.
Order
- The admin can now personalize the job ticket name based on predefined variables such as order ID, customer name, and a 6-digit random number.
- In the v9.1 release, more color options – Navy blue, Teal, Bottle Green, and Maroon are added to the order and order product status labels.
- When the customers have already provided artwork while placing a quote, the admin will have the control in the quote to skip the ‘file upload’ page at the front store when the customer converts quote-to-order.
- A variable has been added for you to configure and show the ‘Product Information’ field’s details in the Job Ticket and in the export/API orders.
- In the Export/API order, variables have been added to capture order & and order-product-level production due date, which can be used to precisely calculate shipment delivery date.
- When the cart subtotal amount is zero then the Order Payment Status will be updated as “Paid” after the order placement.
- The Order Status change activity will be synced either when the status of the Order is changed manually, or it gets changed as per Related Order Status configuration.
- The admin can filter the orders on the Order listing page by selecting multiple payment methods.
- With the store filter added on the Coupon Listing page, the admin can filter the coupons store-wise.
Front Store
- The admin can now copy and share the shopping cart link with their customers. This will be useful for all those customers who don’t have a password set in the system.
- On the front store, the card type (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) will be displayed when the customer enters the first 4 digits of the card during checkout.
- The tax on the shipping price will be exempted for products that are tax exempted by the admin.
- When a product is disabled (calendar, book, package product), the customer will not be able to create a copy of the saved designs with the same product options.
- Now, end customers will have the facility to select and un-select the kit products when the admin has allowed them as a partial kit from the pre-defined kit products page.
- The Action buttons are made to be displayed sticky on the Product Info screen for the mobile interface front view when the admin configures the Action buttons block to be displayed in the pop-up.
- After the order is successfully placed, the order total amount will be displayed on the Checkout Success page.
- The UI and UX of the upload center page are enhanced to make it user-friendly.
- In the Designer Marketplace add-on plugin, on the designer landing page, your customers will now have the facility to search designers by their first name, last name, or nickname.
- The admin can define the URL for your template categories (Mainly used for SEO purposes).
Designer Studio
- You can now configure the product artwork fill setting – load actual image size, fit to the canvas with aspect ratio, fill to the canvas with aspect ratio, and fill to canvas without aspect ratio even for the ‘upload center page’ proofing.
- The master images option has been added in the image category drop-down of the Images tab in the Designer Studio where the admin can view and delete the master images.
- You can now view and edit the crop image coordinates in the Edit Image Property panel.
- We have done the below enhancements in the template tab of the Designer Studio:
- The available templates will be displayed in the left side panel.
- Admin and Customer can filter the templates using the Category filter.
- Admin and Customer can search the specific templates using the Search functionality.
- Admin and Customer can undo/redo the changes in the templates from the top panel of Designer Studio.
- You and your customer can resize the layer panel of the designer studio to avoid scrolling.
- In the Mask Image & Border panel, the applied mask will be displayed as selected.
- The unsupported characters from the fonts in the designer studio and the print-ready file have been removed in the version 9.1 release.
Shipping Section
- Shipping methods can now precisely be assigned to specific user groups of the stores.
- In v9.1, the admin can add a tracking URL in the “Flat Shipping” as well as “Shipping cost by order sub-total” shipping methods.
Quote Section
- With the setting “Skip to upload print-ready file” added in the Quote Action section of the Update Quote page, the admin will have the facility to skip the Quote Design Upload page at the front store. When this setting is enabled and the customer approves the quote, the system will redirect to the Shopping Cart page skipping the Quote Design Upload page.
- For the Existing products, we will display the estimated price at the time of quote placement depending on the product and additional option selection. Additionally, on the Update Quote page under the Quote Action section, the estimated price will be auto filled in the Price field.
Upgrades on The Core Solution:
- Optimization of website performance: The product templates will now load quickly on the Browse Design page on the front store which will save customers time choosing effective templates.
- Upgraded to PHPv8.1: In the v9.1 release, we have upgraded our code to make it compatible with the PHP v8.1 standard mainly for a more secure platform.
- Removed PHP sort tag: At the code level, we have removed the PHP sort tag from across the system to enhance the coding standards and to make the code compatible with PHP v8.1.
- Upgraded all CSS and JavaScript: For better compatibility and enhanced performance, all the third-party CSS and JavaScript used in the solution (Front, Admin, and Designer Studio) have been upgraded.
- Stopped GIF Image Support: The PDFlib has stopped supporting the GIF format of images in its v10.0. As we have upgraded our PDFlib library to v10.0, we will not be supporting the GIF images in our Designer Studio as well as the PDF formats of invoices and job tickets from this release.
- Block Plugin v6.0 Support: In this release, we have started supporting Block Plugin v6.0.
