Summary: OnPrintShop concluded its PRINTING United Expo 2026 presence after showcasing v13.1, its latest AI-powered web-to-print release designed to reduce configuration effort, simplify setup tasks, and streamline workflows for growing print businesses.

PRINTING United Expo 2026 brought together professionals from across the global print industry at the Las Vegas Convention Center from September 23 to 25. At Booth N6510, OnPrintShop used the three-day event to demonstrate v13.1 and explore how its latest capabilities can address some of the operational tasks that consume valuable time behind the scenes.

The release focuses on an often-overlooked part of running a print business: everything that needs to happen before an order reaches production. Product configuration, design setup, mask creation, template development, and order handling can involve numerous manual steps. For businesses managing large product catalogs or increasing order volumes, those tasks can create operational pressure and make growth more difficult.

Through live demonstrations and conversations with visitors, the OnPrintShop team showed how v13.1 of the award-winning web-to-print solution brings several of these activities into a more connected workflow.

What OnPrintShop Showcased at the Expo

The demonstrations at Booth N6510 covered the core capabilities introduced in v13.1, along with several workflow enhancements. Visitors could see the features in action, discuss specific use cases with the team, and understand how the updates could fit into different print production environments.

Dynamic Mask Generation

Creating masks traditionally required administrators to prepare image files externally and then upload them into the platform. With version 13.1, that process can now take place within the application.

Administrators can generate masks by choosing a shape and defining the necessary configuration details directly in the platform. This can reduce the need to rely on external design software for routine product setup tasks. Businesses that already have prepared mask images can still upload those files using the existing workflow.

Block PDF Generator

The Block PDF Generator was another capability featured during the live demonstrations. It allows users to turn PDF artwork into individual design blocks without relying on Adobe Acrobat or additional plugins.

The system identifies the text and image elements within the artwork, helping administrators create reusable blocks with less manual preparation. For print businesses maintaining extensive product and design libraries, the capability can simplify the process of converting existing artwork into configurable design components.

AI-Powered Templates in Designer Studio

AI-powered template generation in Designer Studio also generated considerable interest during the event. Users can provide a prompt describing the type of design they need and use that input to generate a template.

This approach reduces the amount of manual work involved in creating templates from scratch. For businesses expanding their online product catalogs, it also provides another way to build out design libraries without increasing design workload at the same rate.

Additional v13.1 Improvements Highlighted at the Show

Several other updates contributed to the broader v13.1 workflow improvements demonstrated throughout the expo:

  • Rush Order Indicators — A dedicated visual indicator makes rush orders easier to spot during order processing, helping administrators distinguish high-priority jobs from the regular order queue.
  • Customer Templates from Order Modification — Administrators can create customer designs or modified versions directly from the Order Modify page in Designer Studio. The resulting template is automatically saved and linked to the relevant order, eliminating the need to move between separate areas of the platform.
  • Unified Standard and Die-Cut Product Management — Standard and die-cut configurations can now be handled within a single product record. This gives print businesses an alternative to maintaining separate product listings for each configuration.
  • Phone-Based Login and Signup — Customers can use their phone numbers to register and access their accounts, providing an alternative to email-based authentication and creating another entry point for buyers.

The release also includes updates to image editing, CMS page creation, quote management, price calculator flexibility, and shopping feed support for 4over products. Together, these additions expanded the range of administrative and storefront workflows covered by v13.1.

What Print Businesses Were Talking About at PRINTING United

Across conversations at the booth, a common operational theme emerged. The challenges were not necessarily tied to one particular segment of the print industry.

Commercial printers, in-plant operations, and specialty print businesses described similar pressures around product setup, order processing, and the number of manual activities required between receiving an order and moving it toward production.

For businesses operating with lean teams, these individual tasks can accumulate quickly. Adding more products, supporting additional customer requirements, or increasing order volumes can introduce additional administrative work if the underlying processes remain heavily manual.

The v13.1 release addresses several of these areas through capabilities designed to reduce repetitive setup and configuration work. For the OnPrintShop team, PRINTING United Expo provided an opportunity to observe how professionals responded to those capabilities and gather direct feedback about the workflows they want to improve next.

OnPrintShop was represented at the event by Naresh Devra, VP, Product Development; Naimish Patel, VP, Sales; Hemant Kumar, Sr. Business Development Manager; Neel Virpariya, Sr. Business Development Executive; and Trent Foreman, Regional Sales Manager.

Naimish Patel, VP, Sales, said:

“v13.1 is about removing the friction that builds up in the background of a print business. The setup work, the configuration overhead, the manual steps that nobody talks about but everyone feels — that is what this release is targeting. The conversations at the expo confirmed that these are exactly the problems print businesses are ready to solve.”

Naresh Devra, VP, Product Development, added:

“Every feature in v13.1 came from listening to how print businesses actually work. The expo is one of the best environments we have to validate that direction, see how professionals respond to the solutions in real time, and understand what they need us to build next.”

The discussions at Booth N6510 gave the team an opportunity to gather feedback directly from print professionals while demonstrating how the latest release addresses everyday operational requirements.
